Default Daycare in DC?

Can anyone recommend a daycare in DC for a 2-3 year old? My husband will work around K and 20st, so it would have to be somewhat close or accesible to that area. Also, I would appreciate any information on price ranges for the area. Thanks

I lived in MD outside DC, so I can't recommend anything in town, but I can tell you I sent my 4 year old to all day preschool/daycare last year at a national chain center, and it cost me $20,000 for the year. I would imagine anything in DC would be comparable.

Wow, 20K is expensive... I LOVE my daughters school here in FL, full time and I paid 9K last year (its the YWCA). Hopefully we'll find something less expensive than 20K... thanks a lot for your reply.

In DC, I would expect to pay between $300 to $350 per week, provided you could get off a waitlist. A better source for this stuff is at dcurbanmom.com.
