Recommended night clubs for a DC visitor
I'm planning to vist the DC area soon and need somewhere to party and hang out. I've heard mixed reviews about the Love Night Club but over all I heard it was a pretty hot place to be.
What are some other nice hip hop and RnB clubs to go to

I've heard H2O is ok. Love and H2O are the only clubs I know. You should give Adams Morgan a spin. |

If you like "ghetto", you'll enjoy Love and H2O. For a first-time DC clubgoer, I highly recommend Ultrabar. If you're looking for easy sluts, try Rumors.

is the 18th Stree Lounge still hard to get into? gotta dress to impress to get in the door. its got a cool outdoor balcony type of thing going. very chic living room loungy atmoshphere

Rumors is one of the dirtiest meat markets I've ever been to. I felt creeped out there, as a guy! It probably is a good place for what is mentioned in post #5.

I'll bet a 100 dollars you never been to love or h2o....all I see is college educated, professional sucessful 20-30-40 somethings....try actually engaging in a conversation and you'll discover its not "ghetto"... |

bardc.com has pretty good reviews about all the night clubs and bars in DC.
If you're 21+ I would definitely recommend avoiding clubs that are 18+ for everyone on the night you're visiting. Out of the places I've been, I like Ultrabar (very watered down drinks but lots of dancing on every floor) and 1223 (very strong drinks, has the dancing scene on the first floor and more a bar feel upstairs).
