looking for inexpensive place to stay around inauguration
Hello,
I'd love to bring my 13-year-old grandson, my "Obama boy" (he looks like a young Obama) to D.C. for the inauguration. I'd like for him to witness this momentous occasion. We are quiet, nonsmokers, good people, who will take excellent care of your property. We will be coming by bus from Arkansas--yes, there were many people in Arkansas who voted for Obama.
Here's a photo from me from my website. I hope you can see I am an honest person. Moderator cut: link removed
Thank you for your consideration,
Jan Guthrie

There's a ton of places on CraigsList. Many are ridiculous, but I saw some that weren't quite as bad. Hotels are pretty much filled up right now, I think, but if you keep trying you may be able to snag a cancellation.

You aren't going to find anything in Washington that week that is "cheap" unless you have a friend or church group or whatever.

I found listings today for hotels in the area that started at $250 for a nice place with 2 beds.
