Default Reverse Commute From DC to PG County

I'm going to be working in Prince George's County, starting in August, but I don't want to live there. How bad is the commute from DC (I don't know exactly where, so let's say around the Mall for a generic marker) to PG County (again, don't know exactly where, so let's say, outside the Beltway)? That is, how long will it take me on average, if I leave at around 7am and come back at about 5pm?

In the AM, maybe 30 minutes. In the PM, a little bit longer. The worst part will be getting from the Mall area to whichever route you will take to PG.

I drive from Pentagon City, VA to Suitland, MD every day for work. It takes anywhere from 15-30 mins in the morning (around 7 or 7:30 departure time) and 30-45 mins at night (leaving work around 5:30).

The only time I ever hit the brakes is between Virginia and the Mall. East of the Capitol building I rarely go under 60 mph except in areas with stoplights.
