Takoma DC vs Takoma Park MD
Can anyone shed some light on the difference between the two areas - besides Eastern Ave!
I have questions such as
-- schools: is there a big difference between the quality of schools
-- cultural benefits: if you live in Takoma DC, does this prohibit you from benefitting from Takoma MD cultural / public stuff like libraries, YMCA etc? Is there any difference in the quality between the two?
-- is there any tax advantage from one side to the other?
-- stigma: is the DC side considered less appealing to those on the MD side?
anything else that I've not thought of....
