If it's a single cat in a pet building, I wouldn't even mention it. Board it for a week or two, and then bring it in. I've never paid a pet deposit or monthly rent in any city (except the one time I was young and stupid). It's mainly a profit center for the property management company.

If it's a St. Bernard, different thing entirely. Or a horse.

Good for you MGenevese/Sophia...now you legaled your way into a clean pet free environment by using the system...with more like you, you will trash this building then you can move on to the next desirable complex, because you dont like the noise and filth of the one you just destroyed, kind of like termites...some pet owners are the worst nightmare. There are landlords and then there are renters; you two are RENTERS.
