Actually the only truly Republican neighborhood in DC (by voting patterns over zip codes, etc) is Spring Valley, which abuts AU and AU Park. Georgetown is the capitol of the limousine liberals.

I know. I'm hoping I get enough financial aid.

I have a feeling I'll end up in Hofstra University. If GW doesn't give enough, I can't go. I'd rather apply there, though, and have a chance of going to one I prefer rather than applying to AU and not being as happy with my decision.

I'm pretty sure my top choices are, in no particular order, Hofstra, Cal, UCSB, GWU, Cal Poly SLO, and UW.
