KDY and Georgia Ave. doesnt look too good, what are some spots along this street that not too "hood". I am a single Black Male, so I dont mind the area being somewhat sketchy but I dont want to live in full-blown hood. Info Please.

I personally think Kennedy gets a little less hood once you cross Georgia Ave, like around 13th and Kennedy.

Come south down to Columbia Heights. Very mixed neighborhood. Lots of housing options from apartments to row house condos to English basements. There is a metro right in the center as well as a WSC gym, Target and Giant Food Store. Two major bus lines - 14th Street to Takoma Park and 16th Street to McPherson Square and Silver Spring Metro.

Honestly, I wouldn't live on Kennedy any further east than 14th Street. I drive down it often, and something always seems to be popping off ... cops making arrests, suspicious looking activity, and really obnoxious traffic. At least two friends of mine have had a close friend/relative killed on Kennedy.
