Default Go for the Residence Inn Bethesda

Hyatt Regency Bethesda:

I would choose the Residence Inn Bethesda over the Hyatt Regency Bethesda.

I disagree completely. There is absolutely no comparison between these two properties. The Hyatt is much, much nicer. The Hyatt has three bars and two good restaurants (Mortons & Daily Grill) off the lobby; the Residence Inn doesn't even have a lobby! (Other than the front desk.)The only reason to stay at the Residence Inn would be if this was for an extended stay visit and you wanted to have a kitchenette in your room. Moreover, there is a Hilton Inn being built about 10 yards away from the Residence Inn and you would be subjected to the construction noise during the day.
