I will be starting grad school at George Mason this August. My boyfriend is going to the University of Maryland Baltimore County. While it seems unlikely, is there any place we could live together that is reasonable priced ($1300 or under for at least a one bedroom) and has a reasonable commute for both of us?

Silver Spring.
I work in B'More and hubby in Tysons corner. While the commute from Va is bad I think SS is a good mid point. Some people recommend being closer to 1 location but I like being in the middle.
