Yes another moving to DC thread.
[SIZE=3] I will be relocating from AZ to DC next year. I want to get a head start on areas to live. I would like to find place for $1100-2000 at the max. I would prefer to live on my own, but with my tight budget I am open to sharing a place with other people. I'm looking for a place right outside DC for young professionals, access to metro, shopping centers, restaurants and nightlife. I would also like to it be relatively safe with ethnic diversity. I’m not sure about commute to work because I have not found a job yet. I'll worry about that later. I have been browsing through craiglist to get an idea. The only idea I have for place to live is Bethesada, MD. From what I could tell that might be too far away from DC, and it only has one metro stop. I’ve also heard of Arlington, but that might be a bit pricey for me. Could you guys give me extra ideas on where to live or perhaps other areas to research? Thanks in advance!  [/SIZE] |
