Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks!

Yeah - what you seek is already thriving. I've never seen a city more obsessed with amateur sports leagues than DC - filled with people who are "not exactly the best at any sport"
The Mall and various parks around are filled with them in summer evenings.

I agree. I'm going to miss that whenever I leave . Though some of us are pretty decent. Come watch the UMD softball team play in CAN sometime I don't really know how it's been the last 2 years because I couldn't play much, but we used to be pretty good for a co-ed rec league team.

Haha - I'm sure the UMD team is quite good. I'm more thinking of the teams of accountants or lawyers who, shall we say, have a different skill set.

haha, I play on one of those financial teams as well. It's definitely a, um... wide-open style of play. When I joined them I immediately became one of their best power hitters. I'm 5'6, 160lbs lol. I also have to be careful when throwing people out to make sure that I don't hurt our own players. The drinking and camaraderie are fun though.
