are the american workers in D.C? i was in DC recently and everywhere i went i could not help it to notice all the foreign accents everywhere, i stayed at the OMNI SHOREM hotel and i did not see one american worker besides the guests.
At most of Union Station resturants, same thing where do americans congregate
I bet a lot of those workers with accents that you noticed would be rather cranky if you implied that they weren't American; you have no idea what someone's immigration/citizenship status is just by listening to their voice. Also, why on earth does it matter where the workers in our city are from? Lastly, the two places you mention are hardly representative of an entire metro area.
