Capitol Hill for less than 350K? (renting, townhouse, neighborhoods)

I'm renting in Hyattsville but I'm looking to purchase a townhouse soon. I love the Capitol Hill neighborhood but it seems outrageously expensive. Is it realistic to hope for a townhouse in that area for less than 350K? I need 3 bedrooms.

For $350K 3br, the nearest you'll find to Capitol Hill is near RFK stadium. These are rowhouses, not townhomes and in a much less nicer neighborhood. $500K gets you near Potomac Ave and Pennsylvania Ave, and in the other direction the Waterfront area. Realistically, you can't buy into Capitol Hill for less than $750K.

350k or less for three bedrooms is going to be virtually impossible anywhere this side of the Anacostia, but if you can do it, it will be in Capitol Hill--solely because of that neighborhoods stock of smaller rowhomes.

I agree you are going to need to get closer to the stadium, or at least Potomac Ave metro to get something for 350k though. Also south of Pennsylvania and east of Eastern Market.
