That area (Pleasant Plains I think is the "official" neighborhood) has improved a lot, and many young folks are moving in. But it's still somewhat sketchy. Honestly, I'd avoid the blocks east of Sherman and south of Newton in the Columbia Heights area.

Get used to some riff-raff there. That wouldn't be an ideal location, but as was noted it's improving.

Drove by the address today. Jm67, your right about east of Sherman. It gets noticeably sketchier on that side. It looks like there were a number of places getting rehab-ed, though.
