Hi -
My husband and I (plus our daughter, husband and 4 children) are planning to relocate from Sacramento CA to the state of Washington. We cannot live in communities with lots of overcast days, so we started looking toward East Washington. Has anyone experienced the weather in Wenatchee? How much snow actually falls in the winter? Should we expect to be limited in travel over the mountains during winter months because of snow storms? Thanks for any help you can give!

Hi Nuncia,

Go to;

Go to the monthly averages drop down, and click monthly averages.

You can now compare the weather for any two cities you want. All you need is the zip codes and if all else fails you can google in zip code for the city and state to get it. It does not show the actual snow fall but will give you most everything else you need. If snow is a big problem then Clarkston or the Tricities is probably your best bet in Eastern Washington. Be prepared for hot July and August weather.

Good Luck,
