Arrow Relocating

Hello, I have been searching and researching new locations to move. I have been in the Northwest of WA. for many years and the rain is overwhelming. I heard there is more Sun most of the year in Eastern, WA. I have thought about going back to Hawaii or Try Arizona. But, It would be nice to have the fresh rain every know & then. Is there anyone who may be able to give more info. on Wenatchee Or/? and Schools Elementry??

Default western washington cities

I was actually watching the weather channel the other day and they had the top 10 wettest cities and not one of them was in Washington. It took me by suprise too, as I have lived here my entire life. I think people just get it in their minds that it rains here all the time. Don't get me wrong, we get our fair share, but that's what keeps everyting wonderfully green here. There is sun in eastern Washington most of the year, but (in my opinion) it is really just not pretty over there at all. Most of it is flat and brown. I guess I just prefer the chance to go to the beaches and the mountains and see all the trees!! You didn't say exactly what was bringing you this way... a job?? I don't know if you are set on a specific area, but I live in Centralia and it's nice here. There is enough city so there are things to do, but not so much city that it's overwhelming. I know the perfect real estate agent if you are interested in this area. Good luck!!

I have been to Wenatchee several times and it seems very nice. It is true that this area receives a lot more sun than anything west of the Cascades, and yes, the area does receive fresh rain. It also seems to be growing at a fairly productive, stable rate.

I can’t comment on the schools there, but I am sure others will jump in here soon with some info.

It’s not the total amount of rainfall western Washington receives a year that people go on about and that sets records.

It is the number of cloudy days/cloud cover and the number of days with precipitation that western Washington is the highest in the country and sets all kinds of records for.
