Talking relocating-Tukwila to Mukilteo

Hi I am new on this board and want some opinions. I know that the average Seattleite does not like to recomend anything South of Seattle to live. We (family of 6) moved here from Utah last fall. We know the area because we came out for vacation each summer to be with family. My family is retired and lives in Tukwila, so that is where we have stayed. It is definately different from anything we came from. The area we are in seems to be cute, older and a well kept street. It is not Kirkland by any means, but I have seen worse areas north of Seattle that I would never live in. The schools are tolerable, but I have found a HUGE sense of community here. The city council and parents have been quite close from the elem thu to the HS. Anyway, we are looking at a career move and need to be in Mukilteo. Are there condo's or rental houses in good nieghborhoods close to that town that anyone would recomend? We are not looking to buy just yet, but we need a 3 bed 2 bath w/ garage kitties ok kind of place. We have a house that we rent here, and wonder if it is worth the move.
