Kettle Falls, Colville Wa.

METH: Cheweleh has more than Colville and Colville has more than Kettle Falls. It is not IN TOWN in Kettle, it is a town of 1500 people and you can easily walk from one end of town to the other in about 15 minutes. It may be out in the hills, but that's really more pot and they leave you alone anyways. They won't bother you fishing. POLICE PRESENCE IN Kettle and Colville is apparent on a daily basis.

I want to thank everyone for the responses and great information you all have passed on to myself and wife (Lisa of Longview). A special thanks to Dean-O for all the great info he included, very helpful indeed!
To me it sounds like God's country and I would love it. Lisa is a little more reserved about the area and a little worried about cool summers because she wants it real warm all summer and is a little put off by the temperature mapping an average for the area of only 70 degree's during summer months. So if anyone can flesh out what summers are really like it might be helpful to her.
We have also considered the Wenatchee area but it is simply growing to fast and there are still rumors of getting the state to put a high speed rail service over the mountains to Wenatchee. Now there is an absolutley frightening thought! I don't even live over there yet, and I would hate to see that ever happen. It would totally destroy life on the East side of the Cascades!
Anyway, thanks to everyone. We check in regularly and will be watching the temps this winter -Wrongway

We have been looking to see some lots in Kettle Falls and have had ZERO luck finding a dependable realtor who can commit to showing us properties for a few hours!

If anyone knows of one please let me know. We are visiting from Phoenix for the exact reason and have emailed at leasy 6 realtors up there with no luck.
