Can someone direct me to a website that will identify any policies, protocols or laws that describe action to be taken with repeated, threats and bullying in a public school in WA State? I am wondering if this might vary from school to school?

thanks.
L.

It would vary from school district to school district.

The schools ascribe to Zero Tolerance policy. Each school districts do have different rules about what it's applied to, and a lot of time, it's subject to what the Principle decide. Usually a physical alteration warrants the initiating student (and sometimes the victim) expulsion.

At a middle school recently, it was applied to cyberbulling and the kids were suspended. Editorials | Zero tolerance for cyberbullies | Seattle Times Newspaper

I'm really glad bullying is finally being clamped down on and schools have a zero-tolerance for it these days. Wish it was that way when I was going to school. Seemed like bullying was the in thing back in my school days, and many teachers and counselors would just brush it off by saying things like "kids will be kids", "quit letting them taunt you", or my favorite - "you brought it on yourself." Growing up is difficult enough for kids these days, at least let them do it without being pushed around.
