Default Washington Renaissance Fantasy Faire (Gig Harbor)

Is anyone going to this? Or have you been before? I just moved to the Seattle area and I plan on going. You can check out the website here:

Washington Renaissance Fantasy Faire in Gig Harbor, Washington

I hope it's nice, we had a very small one where I came from but it was fun. I'm hoping for something a bit bigger. They held this last weekend and it will continue for the next two weekends.

No, I have not been to Washington Renaissance Fantasy Faire but I have been to the Camlann Medieval Faire (in Carnation) a few times and truly enjoyed it.

Camlann Medieval Faire website: Camlann Medieval Village When site opens click on Summer Festivals.

Thank you for reminding me of the Renaissance/Medieval fairs, I will be sure to get to one or the other!!

I attended the Rusty Scupper Pirate Daze fair, which is like a pirate themed renaissance-like fair... lots of period dress ups... Discovering Westport: Arrgh Matey, Rusty Scupper Pirate Daze

It was pretty cool... great people watching.

I am hoping to check out the Gig Harbor Renaissance Fair this weekend!

I've been there each of the last two years, and I'll be going with the family & some out-of-town visitors this Saturday. Fun stuff. It's the only Ren Faire I've been to, so I have no idea how it compares to others in the same genre.

So much fun stuff here. I'm going to the Faire one of the next two weekends, then the following weekend it's time for the Penny Arcade Expo!
