Default Relocating to Washington

My husband and I have been looking into moving to the western Washington area. We have been having a hard time trying to find the right place. Any ideas on towns that are family oriented? We would like somewhere close to the coast.

Are you looking along the coastline or would the Puget Sound area work as well? Because with the PS area, it infinitely opens up a lot more your options.

Along the coastline: Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Whidbey Island/Anacortes and Bellingham are all great options.

How close to the coast? Have you investigated some areas and found them unsuitable, or at this point is the problem that they all look good?

Do you need to find jobs? Live as close to work as possible, because the most family-oriented activity is actually being with your family.

Do you want to buy or rent? If you rent, you can learn more about the area before committing to a house.

If you're looking at the coast, Vancouver would be the better option and the cost of living is much lower than Seattle. Seattle is on Puget Sound but the actual Pacific Coast is three hours a way.
