What's it like in Everett?

We do intend to eventually sell the house. First though we are going to totally renovate it and double it in size. During this time my son can go to college and "get his feet wet" in law enforcement. We are going to use this house for the 1 time "no captial gains tax free sale". Then who knows?? We'll
downsize to some thing we will call our home base and just travel. I have family in Germany and I hope to show my husband the sights. My son wants to return to Alaska with Federal Fish & Game. He has never gotten Alaska out of his blood. ( But he is still young!) He hates Florida. I guess we will have to deal with what ever we find when we arrive. Either way I know we will much improve the property from what it is now. I've look on Zip realty at homes for sale within 1/2 mile of the house....it doesn't look "terrible". So I'll just keep hopeing for the best.

i wouldnt reccomend Everett.
whidbey island would be better.
or the east side.
the entire North-End is pretty run down.
South Everett around Broadway and the Denny Juvenile Center is mostly refered to as "THA JUNGLE" because of the high crime and many people have told me that ccriminals run around like little monkies robbing and stealing and killing etc. hence the name "THA JUNGLE".
I wouldnt be able to reccommend North Everett either just because it is still Everett.
Lynnwood would be a better choice but still has a reputation for crime.

I second that!
The biggest mistake I made was sending my kids to a private school in North Everett. Great school.......AWFUL location and if we can make it through the rest of this month safely.......we won't be looking back with fond memories of the area!.......
FYI......check out the sheriff's website to get an example of the amount of pediphiles in the area......

or should I correct myself and use the proper term....."sex offenders" since in all fairness they probably aren't ALL pediphiles......
