Hi all - New here...! I'm looking at relocating to the Okanogan Valley area, I have family in BC. I've been searching the interenet for information on the towns in the Valley and I can't make my mind up. We would like to stay near to a Hospital and good schools and not too far away from shopping etc. We're interested in Omak/Tonasket/Wenatchee but I was hoping you may be able to help shed some light on these areas..? What are the Hospitals like? Schools? I'm looking for a 2300+ sq ft place with an acre minimum.

Thanks in advance.
Pete

I know a little bit about Wenatchee, having visited there throughout my life, known others who live there, and currently manage an office in town. I think Wenatchee is beautiful, and it appears large enough to have adequate health care resources and a sufficient tax base to support the schools.

I don't have specific info on schools, but other posts with questions about relocating have those links included. You may try reviewing other posts to find that data.

You'll definitely be able to find the kind of housing and land that you're looking for on the outskirts of town.

My experience with Wenatchee is that it's a very nice, small, agricultural-economy based town.
