Default Tacoma question

Does anyone remember how that law suit turned out that was filed several years ago over the Tacoma city police official who killed his wife?

I'm assuming you're talking about David Brame? It was settled in 2005.

Thanks. I hadn't heard. Suppose it was sealed again public disclosure and all that?

No, I don't think it was sealed. The family got 12 million dollars, an apology, and some other things;

Wow. Thank you so much for that information and link. My local city council is in the middle of considering hiring the fellow that was in the same job in Tacoma at the time as our new City Manager. I can't figure out why? From what I read he sure seemed to make some costly bone-headed decisions. Or it just might be my twisted thinking.

Thanks again.

Costly bone headed decisions? More like lack of decisions. Hopefully Salinas doesn't have a police chief going crazy and about to kill his wife and himself:
