The description of the Tri-Cities is consisting of three neighboring cities: Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland. Is it corrected?

Yikes, I would not want to commute from Tri-Cities to Yakima on a daily basis.

West Valley and Terrace Heights are both nice. The past few years, there have been a fair number of break-ins in West Valley though. One of my friend's house was robbed, in a pretty decent neighborhood.

Welcome to wine country. I admit I'm not a connoisseur, but I'll take a Washington wine over Napa Valley any day =)

From what I remember, while going on a wine tasting tour... it's a small town with lots of orchards and agriculture. The memory is a little hazy though, haha

I live in the Ellensburg area and commute to Yakima weekly. The new bus between Ellensburg and Yakima is reliable, frequent and inexpensive. It's only $3 per trip and is way better than driving. It's a total game changer when it comes to living in Ellensburg and working in Yakima. Info about it:

I am waiting for a job interview via a videophone on the last week of this month or first week of February. After reading Coinbeard's posting the link, I clicked the Yakima Transit map so it could bring me to a transit stop which is one block away from my possible office.

Good luck. The shuttle received a 2-year startup state grant, and is facing a legal challenge from another company (although I think that will fail). They seem to have a good ridership, I just hope they can manage to keep it around long-term.
