Hello all....I have narrowed down my relocation to Port Townsend or Whidbey Island (Coupeville, Freeland, Langley).

Here is my question....what is the dating scene like in these areas?

I am 35, financially secure, independent, and I don't have any children. I usually lean towards older, intellectual and artistic men who are also financially secure and independent.

From looking at the city data it seems there are a lot more women than men and generally more couples.

Any singles out there in these areas that have some feedback??

Thanks!!

Okay - I'm you - but with Kids

And I've been here and I feel there are WAY more singles! But the problem is they are younger (well not a problem if the guys don't mind an older lady perhaps?)

Nice to meet you both I will be there shortly and will be in the same boat. Though I am leaning torward's the Bellevue area unless I get work Downtown then Bainbridge will be my choice. With the grey skies and drizzle I would imagine that pub's, coffee houses, museum's , gyms, basically indoor life would be quite popular. I'm looking forward to it.

Yes, I noticed too that there are many younger singles. Well, who knows... maybe we will both meet fantastic men and it will be a moot point.

Nice to meet you as well. I like your suggestions on meeting someone at a coffee house or museum. That has me thinking about book stores too. Thanks for the advice.

Warmest,

TecWmn

Very true! Thats probably a hot spot in Seattle. A coffee house is a great place to get to know someone. Im a single full time dad, and have noticed that schooling events can be a good way to get in a circle as well.

However, if you are a 400 lb axe murderer, try Aberdeen or Hoquiam.

How could any woman with a brain choose a rude, unemployed boy? I just find older men sexy in a huge way.....sounds like I am going to be one happy little chica!! I love the idea of ruling the world too....

Thanks Stephen!!
