You do realize that Boeing has a lot of facilities in different locations? It would be easier if you could narrow it down to at least one location if you know it. Or are you going to be one of those people that will be bouncing to different locations?

It would suck to decide to live in... say Snohomish, then realize you mainly work in Auburn.

Which Boeing facility? There is the main one in Everett, then there is some in Renton, Auburn, and elsewhere.

The Renton plant actually produces more planes than the "main one" in Everett. The aircraft are not as big, though, and the factory and headcount are smaller. As noted, the OP does need to be more specific. The Boeing sites are far flung.

There are many choices to live around the Boeing plant in Everett. Also many great locations to raise a family. Everett itself has some nice areas along the waterfront, and portions in the south. There are many schools, services, and shopping around. Everett will be the most affordable when it comes to rent. I would stay away from areas along Highway 99 and Evergreen.

Also Mukilteo is really worth looking at, but it might cost more then you want. Waterfront community right next to Boeing. Rent will be more here, but you can find some moderately priced apartments and homes here too.

Many commute from all corners of the earth to Boeing, and I-5 and the freeway connectors are the main modes of travel. This can cause snarl ups if commuting from places like Bothell, Lynnwood, or elsewhere.

Default Marysville

Everyone who works in Everett lives in Marysville! Just kidding Snohomish is one of the better places to live fairly quiet far enough from Everett yet close enough to make it to work in say 20 mins or so. Depending on shift you work. Most new hires get the 2nd or 3rd shift. Traffis isnt to bad for either of these shifts except fridays for 2nd shifters going to work. But not to worry as there will be no parking spaces available for you when you get to work! Yeah thats a reality you have to deal with so actually you may want to get a 3rd shift job and live life a lot easier than fighting traffic and waiting in the parking lots for someone to leave so you can park! Lynnwood isnt bad either your still within 15 mins or so of work. Marysville is a option alot of homes for rent up there. But be prepared for traffic jams between Everett and Marysville in the afternoons starting around 4 -7 pm Fridays even earlier and of course worse. Lake Stevens is another option its accessible via Highway 2 its another Boeing Bedroom community. Silver lake which is a suburb of Everett to the east of Everett. Then there's Bothell its a little more expensive but about as close as lynnwood. But if you want to have a short comute to work there are places in Everett but the town can be lets say seedy! Beverly lane and Pecks corner puts you within 10 mins from boeing and you coule ride a bike or a motorcycle which would be ideal for the parking situation..... Everett has a lot of wana be gangsta's So there beware! So there's a few ideas for ya good luck with your new career at Boeing. Just do one thing and you'll be ok Show up to Work On Time thats all you have to do! Summers Coming Enjoy it while it lasts....

You don't actually want to live near Boeing, it's close to some of the worst crime areas of Everett. Staying at least 20-30 miles away as the others have suggested. Everett does have nice areas too
but you need to be really familiar with Everett to avoid the bad ones. Some of the worst apartment buildings for crime are on Casino Road, but just driving by you would think they look nice.
