Talking small towns-anywhere

hey im looking into moving to a small town-i dont want to live somewhere with a population of less than 1000 people. but i really want to live where everyone knows everyone.

i really like stars hollow from gilmore girls-where there is a town hall, "a diner"-and where everyone knows everyone.

i also love the snow-so i would definetly need to live somewhere where it snows in the winter. if anyone has any ideas- please comment. thank you.
-by the way-places i would definetly consider would be oregon-washington-connecticut-virginia-and any other state that anyone would think would be good.

thank you so much.

there's a town in New Jeresey that was recently rated one of the best places to live in the US and it totally sounds like what you're describing...although I don't remember population details. What is the name of that town????? Maybe it was Moorestown.

Johnson City NY would fit the "Small Town" feel where everyone knows you and cares about you (Upstate NY). However, it's not in the states you listed. I was looking in the Stanwood / Camano Island WA area for the same reason you listed but I don't live there. Hence, I can not give you an opinion. Best of luck.
