Big freakin' deal! Let them shop at Costco. People should be happy there are people spending money across the border. I don't see how this is a problem.

For that we were called racists and intolerant of other people.

NOW I understand, we should have just mentioned the LONG SHOPPING LINES and NOT BEING ABLE TO FIND A PARKING PLACE.

I am sure that Senators Murray and Cantwell will see the light now!! Even Gregoire will probably understand now that it is put into terms that western Washington residents can understand.

Thanks again......our letters are going out TODAY!!!
Oh TOO good to let fall back a page

My friends that post the messages on Hamilton Farms (thank goodness) Billboard at Exit 72 on I-5 would agree !!

So much for TOLERANCE hee-hee

That's good for the merchants and jobs in the area. Not saying all positives but all Costco has to do is increase their supplies and everybody wins...no?

Long lines and limited parking is always a problem at Costco no matter where the store is located or who the customers are.

Unless someone has been on the line fighting NAFTA and WTO, I have no sympathy for them if those globalisation changes are pinching them. Far worse than Costco is happening because of them. Wake up and learn about the world.

It sounds like the only true part of my sentence is liberal.
Wait, so only liberals live in Bellingham? Then it must be the liberals who are complaining and none of them are conservatives who live in or near there. Nice to have such a black and white world.

Sometimes those Canadians venture farther south and spend money at the small, local businesses in my neighborhood, so I say bring them on.

You are the only one who has mentioned eastern Washington in this thread; I don't read all the threads so I don't know what you are referring to.

I am implying that some of the people complaining about Canadians are conservatives.
