Default great Christmas vacations??????????
My family and I are looking to take some sort of vacation over the Christmas holiday. Other than Leavenworth, what are some places and events going on that we can go to. We are looking to be away from home for a week or so. Thanks!

Check out Sunriver Resort in Oregon. Just a few minutes south of Bend.

Here is one you can check out. Scottish Lakes out of Leavenworth-at least I think thats the nearest town. You might need XC skis and snowshoes because other than the Hot Tub thats going to be the main form of recreation. No Phone, TV, or radio. Its a little rustic and some people really love it while others probably cant wait too leave. If your idea of a great time is hanging out at the REI in Seattle on a saturday afternoon you would probably like it. My son love the place but I would rather stay somewhere else.
