Default Relocating to Ft. Lewis WA

Hi everyone, we are relocating to the Ft.Lewis area(not military) and are wondering if anyone can tell us about the areas near there. I am needing info on the best elementary schools, doctors/hospitals, housing basicly everything. Or if you know the towns websites that would be great. Thanks to all.

Dixiemama,
Consider moving to Dupont, Lacey or Olympia. Dupont is right across the freeway from Ft. Lewis, Lacey is a 15-20 minute commute and Olympia a 20-25 minute commute. Olympia and Lacey are basically two towns that have grown together. They have two hospitals and all the shopping and amenities one could want. The home prices in Olympia tend to be a bit higher than in Lacey, but the Olympia school system is a bit better than Lacey's North Thurston School District. You can get a lot of helpful information about all three towns right here on the city-data website.
Good luck with your move.

Sandy
