Hi thank you. If prices in Spokane are like Walla Walla housing, we can't afford it. LOVE WA that we saw but was near Columbia River. Rainy. I am going to do housing search in Spokane. Thank you again!!!

There are a few areas of Eastern WA where real estate prices are ridiculous - mostly the resort-y and trendy-type areas. Walla Walla's real estate is crazy because of the so-called "Napa Valley of Washington" thing that has led to a large number of rich yuppies moving into the area and starting up vineyards.

Other super-expensive areas are Wenatchee, Chelan, and to a lesser extent, Ellensburg and the Methow Valley.

Spokane's real estate is reasonable, as is Tri-Cities, Moses Lake, Clarkston, and most of the North Central and NorthEast areas of WA.

Thank you. I'll write down those towns. Being on fixed income, it's hard.
