Edmonds-Mukilteo-Mill Creek-Bothell-Lynnwood (Woodinville: apartments, how much, townhomes)

Does anyone know of any nice apartment communities that are kind of out in the country in the above listed towns? My husband will be working at paine-snohomish airport and I'll be working in Woodinville, so we've narrowed it down to those cities. I want lots and lots of nature. I'm in the middle of a city with no sidewalks right now and I hate it. We're in Texas (for 3 more weeks). Anyway, I have two lab mixes and have to walk down the side of the street (LOTS of traffic) for 5 minutes to get to the only patch of grass around here. I'm originally from Germany and I want to go back to the wonderful life of stepping outside my door and crossing the street into a forest, onto mountain trails, whatever, not concrete and police cars everywhere!! I've been looking for houses on craigslist, how much are utilities up there? We pay about $120 a month for electric down here, but rent's a lot cheaper (here). We're attracted to apartments/townhomes because w/s/g is usually included, we don't need any surprises because this move will kill us for a few months!
