My husband and I join you and wonder how it worked for you, because it has been the worst nightmare of our lives. And we did not have lofty expectations!

I'd be interested to know also. We're moving out there next year. so far I found Sequim to be a nice quiet place when we visited.

We moved to Sequim more than 3-4 years ago (actually 12 years now) and I find thisplacesucks comment confusing to say the least. I wish she would explain what it is/was that upset her.
We moved to Sequim, after a very short stay in the PT area, which we hated.
After working in the Seattle area for 34 years and we really can't find any fault in our decision picking Sequim.
I have a feeling 'thisplacesucks' is use to the big city (California maybe?) and finds life here a little to mellow for they taste. Or maybe its the conservative trend that upset them.

Please come back and tell us Sequimi what the problem is. You need a friend or sumpun?

Don't let sour grapes by one person detour your decision. Sequim is a great place to either retire or raise your kids. (We do both)

The OP also included Port Angeles in the post. That may be what they are referring to as the place not necessarily Sequim.
