What are the least expensive places to buy a house? First among the coastal towns and Second in the State of Washington as a whole? Washington Real Estate is a bit pricy and the real estate taxes are higher than average.

Places like Aberdeen are fairly inexpensive and near the coast. There's not much industry out there anymore, and if it's not a tourist spot either it tends to be inexpensive.

If you don't need a job, entertainment, shopping or good schools, and don't mind 100-150" of rain annually, here are plenty of cheap places to live in the along the coast, Ocean Shores, Hoquiam, Aberdeed, and way north in Forks and LaPush. Then there are many areas in the eastern part of the state, like Omak, Okanogan, Colville, all hot and dry.
