Earthquake insurance: what deductible to pick?

I would not want to be in parts of Seattle in a major quake, there is much of it built on fill, and other parts with underground tunnels under them. Then there's the frail seawall, currently being replaced, and old water pipes. Besides damage from the shaking, there could be major flooding and fires. Many of the newer homes are built to earthquake standards, but are on steep slopes, and in our wet climate if the big quake came when the soil was saturated, it could be messy. We were nowhere near the epicenter of the Loma Prieta quake but had a serious crack through the driveway and garage slab. I also remember as a kid the 1957 SF quake where we lost our chimney.

We are looking in the Sequim area. I'm trying to get a handle on the subsidence risk in the area west of 101.
