Yuppie trail? Hmmm. I didn't see any obvious young urban professionals nor any immodest rich folks when we walked it but I did see lots of non-yuppie types enjoying the trail. :-)
I actually built a house on the street the railroad went down and I can tell you I and my neighbors are glad they took it out.

Guess we'll have to make do with that Dockside Grill. We actually appreciate having Costco, Home Depot and Walmart as we shop at both local shops and the big box stores.

Perhaps we will all be neighbors someday. In February 2016 we were in Sequim for the first time and discovered Daybreak Meadows. We liked it so much we bough lot S5 on Shauna Place. We are hoping to break ground on a new home early 2017. It was just perfect for what we were looking for, which is to get out of the Vegas heat and congestion to a smaller more friendly area to live and enjoy our retirement.

Default HOA question for DayBreak Meadows in Sequim

We're looking at at lot in DayBreak Meadows and I have a copy of the CCRs, but I'm unsure of a few things. We'd like to build a steel truss based home - in Texas they call them barndominiums. They can be customized and look like regular homes. If fact, many are very high end. However, I'm not sure if this is would be allowed or if a metal roof is ok. Anyone know the answer? Also not thrilled that we can't keep a few backyard hens for eggs, but we'd give it up for a nice homesite. Can't seem to find a contact for the HOA.

Thanks,

Chris
