Not a native, but thanks, we'll take it!  It's incredibly beautiful here, rain or shine. Coincidentally, our 15 years in Florida helped us appreciate this area more--even the rainy & cloudy days. Both corners of the country have their pluses and minuses, and FL has many nice areas too. Though weather has never been a driving force for us, I think we're more suited to the cool, cloudy climate of the PNW. Sounds like you're happier in warm & sunny Florida. There's no one perfect place for everyone thankfully, or it would sure be crowded! Good luck with your journey back, PG77.

Thanks! Yeah, you are right, warm and sunny does suite me better and I know different people like different things. If I dont make it back to Florida, I will be heading to Arizona probably as I have very bad arthritis.
