Having to do with Lesbian and Gay Couples, how tolerated is this in Washington?
I am planning a move there, with my Girlfriend of 14 years. Do I need to be careful of areas I am moving to because of intolerance towards our lifestyle?
I am from the South, and we have a lot of this type of indifference directed at us, because of our lifestyle. In fact, not to long ago, I called about a rental in our town, and because we are Lesbians, the Lady flat refused to rent to us. Do I need to worry about this in Washington?
We are thinking about the Gold Bar/Enumclaw area...Is this NOT a good idea, and should we try to get closer to Seattle? We really do not like the big City life.

gold bar and enumclaw are no where near each other, you wont have any problem in seattle it is about as homosexual freindly as you can get, gold bar, is not exactly the most trendiest place, but if you keep going up the highway to Index, there is qiute the large homosexual community there, never figured out why.
