For those of you in Snohomish, congratulations! CNN has rated your town in the top 10 coolest in the country.

It was Budget Travel magazine editors, not CNN.

After Budget Travel readers nominated 385 small towns across the country last year, the magazine's editors picked 15 great spots they thought fit the bill of cool small towns.

The public had the final say: The magazine's website collected 103,961 votes in five weeks, with voting closing on March 4. While not entirely immune to robo-voting, editors tried to prevent it by allowing just one vote per 24 hours per IP address.

I'm from MN and Snohomish definitely has it beat on visual appeal by a mile!

I love Snohomish town! Great antique and boutique shopping, and cafes, all in a scenic setting. Surrounded by streets of some beautiful old victorian and craftsman homes!

Kind of weird how every town on that list either sits on or very close to an ocean or a very large lake. Guess those small desert towns just ain't ever gonna be cool.
