Heh heh. I know. It's funny now looking back
with all we have learned in the meantime about that
crook Gonzales and the whole election stealing thing
that anybody ever believed that koo-koo claim that she
did not win. At least it came out in the wash. Now thay should give those
state attorney generals who did not go along with the scheme
their jobs back.

Well of course, they had to get past the more accurate machine counts to the hand count so they had time to "find" more ballots. How many times did King County discover missing ballots after she lost the first two count? 7 or 8? It will be much easier for them now that they've done away with polling places and have absentee only in King County.

Gregior started doing things about transportation as soon as she was sworn in. Her first breath as governor was spent breaking campaign promises and raising taxes, which hasn't done any good but we've certainly paid for it.

A toll on 520 is only going to send people 2 miles south to take I-90.

Why don't you ask some people outside of Seattle, or outside of west King County what they think about paying for the viaduct? Why don't you put a toll there so the people who use it pay for it. I'm sure all those people will be thrilled that she's doing something about transportation.

Well, since Seattle is the bread winner for the whole state, what benefits Seattle benefits Washington, that's for sure.

But your kidding about those hacked voing machines, right? One of the
best things about Gregoire was that she was a fighter and did not let the
Rove/Gonzales election theft scheme roll right over her. If more politicians had her
guts, 4ooo American troops would still be alive.

Unfortunately, an elected official is just that. Elected. Damnit man, we put him/her there. Then we realize that we screwed up. Not what do we do? We can vote and put him/her in office, but we can't vote to take them out? hahaha Now, all we can do is ***** for the next 4 years. Or, we could shoot them and go to prison. But the other voters would be better off. hahaha

Oh no You've got to be kidding

The wimpy one who said "If OR passes CARB then (WE) WA will play the CARB game too... " which the other wimp... Gov K in OR passed... and now Gov G is suing the Fed Gov over CAFE When WA is stated to have one of the largest state litigation burdens in US (The largest according to a report I saw last week.. now who is the lawyer, an has a strong financial interest in this.... "Chris received her law degree in 1977 from Gonzaga University." ) BTW, there are no federal implications to the terrible financial and regulatory burdens she gave us while ballooning the State Dept of Ecology. Try running a dairy farm or drilling a well in WA

So now... WA is shouldering the burden of starting its own CARB agency which will employ thousands on taxpayers dime, while forcing MORE regulation... only to reduce emissions by 20% in 20 yrs !!! (laugh - laugh...) We could have done the same thing in less than 2 yrs with conservation and intelligent allocation of resources and bio-fuels (instead of stupid mandates into 50 mpg cars that get used 20 min / day, as in Multnomah County OR and soon to be WA (the "me-Too" state...) It's like driving a Prius a few min / day instead of investing that technology on 20 hr / day delivery trucks used Worldwide... Thank goodness MB has made a diesel hybrid delivery truck with regen braking, of course we have very few (protoypes) in USA... our fuel is really cheap !!

The non-gov-Chris, a transportation leader !! She just needs to personally thank those dead people and felons that finally got her elected. I'm sure there will be plenty of those votes to keep her in... these folks aren't exactly tasked to fill the state coffers. WA has climbed from #14 to #5 in highest tax burden under her austere leadership; now that is worth a thumbs up, for those who still have a job...

She also wants to bring back 'sobriety checkpoints'. How does she get around the fact the state supreme court already shot these down? By getting a warrant "... from a superior court judge, after providing the judge with a specific location and time period of the checkpoints". Basically a warrant for a road or intersection.

I can't wait to see this get abused...oops, I mean enacted. It won't do anything to deter drunk driving, it will however raise revenue for he state without it being called a tax.
I don't drink and drive, yet I have a huge problem with this.

She has also raised taxes, license fees (didn't we vote to keep those in check?) and still has time in office to do more.

Gregoire is a joke.
