I currently live in Olympia, and my parents are likely moving from out of state to the Olympia/Lacey area. They are both already covered by Original Medicare. Does anyone know how difficult it is to find a primary care physician here for someone who is enrolled in only Original Medicare (A and B)?

They are very experienced with the workings of the Medicare system, and will definitely not be getting any kind of supplemental coverage because it is always cheaper for them to pay out of pocket.

So if anyone has experience or knowledge of this locally, I would appreciate hearing it.

There are two hospital systems here, Capital and Providence St. Peter's. It might be a good idea to reach out to potential internists or other docs they'll need to see if they accept the insurance. We haven't found a lot of Internists outside PSP, Capital or one called Steck (sp?) in this area. Otherwise, no real help to you on that one. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I think it's funny that I happen to use the same screen name as you do when I post on a different website (televisionwithoutpity.com)!
