I was thinking of heading up to Mt. Baker / Baker Lake area for some short hikes this weekend.
Is the weather ok now for this, or is it too early in season?
Any specific recommendations on established lodging for an overnight?
Thanks in advance.

This winter was mild and spring came early; the weather is fine. We hiked to 5400 feet a couple days ago (Anderson Butte), and I never put on my jacket. We saw a little snow near the trail toward the end, but there was no snow on the road or on the trail.
