I knew where Prosser was, but did not know what darkwing meant by Mustangs.
Kind of figured it out after i posted...
What's life like in Prosser, isn't it real close to the Tri-Cities?

Yes prosser is close to the tri-cities. Nice small town but one of those towns if you blink you miss it if you know what I mean.

Why is that? Other than there is no traffic and tons of open space?

Well, those are two pretty good reasons to start. I've always loved small town life, sense of community, and all that kind of stuff. Plus, if the argument against it is that there is nothing to do, Tri-Cities is a half hour away and Yakima isn't much farther than that.

I thought there was more than enough to do in Prosser! Everyone was friends with everyone and there's was always something going on, especially with sports (football season was best!).

We live nearby in the country between Mabton and Prosser. The people are mostly friendly, it's a bit clique-ish as all small towns are. Once you get to know people they are pretty friendly. The high school sports teams, particularly football, tend to do well in their class, I think this is partly because Prosser is about as big as you can get and stay in that class, but also well-coached (I guess - don't pay much attention to ball playing in general)
I don't think they have much of a gang problem in Prosser, although you do see some graffiti occasionally. But I'm assuming graffiti of a certain sort means gangs, which is not necessarily true.
I like the area, partly because of the wine country, partly that you can get to Tri-City or to Yakima, as well as the various small towns around the valley.
