Ha, yeah I have no idea why several people disagreed with you about the whole post obviously being a ruse, as it was clearly an effort in trolling. I mean, it's literally a loaded question from the start.

I'm fine with arguing (obviously) and watching arguments, but let's at least acknowledge this for what it is. The fact that some people are having an actual discussion from this is a byproduct, not the goal of the OP, who comes back from time to time to stir the pot by saying something incendiary or post a darkened image and an insult to watch the reactions!

We have 4 seasons like other states. In fact it rains less here than other states...it's just it's in different amounts and times. The summers are gorgeous here. The rain is what makes it beautiful. Not dead and ugly.

I totally agree.

It rains less in Wenatchee than Tucson.

Thank god, the rain in Tucson is mainly in the summer otherwise I could not handle the rain!! But winter is much nicer in Tucson than Wenatchee.

I am looking in to returning to my home state but I'm not sure if I really want to or not. There is a job in my field open in a small town I would like to live in in Washington state right now, though. There is a lot ta like about Washington state. It is a beautiful state, huh?

Washington has a way of drawing former residents back. The State offers so much, from fertile farmlands, potatos, apples, cherries, on and on. The different climates, from west to east, (you decide), the boom of Seattle/Bellevue, on and on again.
The emerging Tri-Cities...wow this area is hot! (And I am not just talking about the weather). The mountains, which are never that far away, whether you live east or west. I would not live anywhere else.

Elko if I didn't have so many familial commitments to SoCal I would be in WA right now.

I think it may be a little late for that. (BTW, I have been hearing this sentiment my entire life...and I'm no spring chicken!)

We have a house in Arizona and southern Spain where we can retreat in the winter.
Low crime? The neighborhood scout crime index shows Seattle has more crime than Los Angeles...Same for Tacoma, Yakima, etc. They don't call them Tacompton and Crackima for nothing.
