I have lived in cali my whole life and have had enough. My husband and I are planning to relocate out of state in summer of '08. We are looking at either Alabama or Washington state. I am interested in any info about adams county. Specific othello cuz I have a brother -in-law that just moved there but I would like to hear from someone other than him because his opinion is a bit one sided. population explosions, crime, school system, overall attitude of the people, etc. any info is apreciated. thank you

Both of my parents grew up n othello, so I have a lot of reletives there. I has a population of about 6000 within the city limits, no traffic, no recent population boom, and a very large hispanic population, so racism isn't really a problem. They recently built a Wal-mart a few years back. It's primarily an agricultural city, and is close to potholes reservor which is good to go to during the summer when it gets really hot. It has a desert climate so it can get as high as 100 degrees during the summer. Hope this helps.

thank you xboxmas for the info. from what i have seen of othello in pictures my husband has sent etc. i certainly have fallen in love with it. i am nervous of course lol new town and lifestyle and all but i am looking forward to it.
