Default How come Everett seems to be getting a bad rap?
Most posts I read concerning Everett seem to be on the negative side as far as housing goes.(ie where to live) Is it really that awfull? Anything with a positive note about the town?

Everett's an old mill town, and has a reputation, largely undeserved, for being smelly, ugly, and dangerous....and parts of the downtown area area a bit sketchy, but mostly Everett has improved a lot, and just as some Seattle folk like to make fun of Tacoma, Kent, and Renton..Everett's in that category too.
Downtown Everett's become a lot nicer, and outside of downtown there always were and still are some great neighborhoods.

Check out the county pervert list and see if you think Everett is all that great not to mention that it makes the news often for crimes. You be the judge.

I've known areas with million dollar homes who have had their share of perverts so I
will take that with a grain of salt.
