Hey folks, i am a newbie here and I need some suggestions.
I will be moving from Michigan to work at Everett. Due to my lack of knowledge on the seattle area, I really need advise from people on which apartments is the best to live as far as for safety. I have been doing some research and I am liking the Lynnwood Area. I currently have a shiba inu that will come to seatlle with me so I need a place that allow dogs. Any suggestion on good apartments and how long is the drive to the Boeing plant in Everett? |

I would recommend that you try Craigslist.
Also, here's the combined Classifieds of newspapers which serve Lynnwood and Everett: North Sound Classifieds There are other online resources such as Rent.com, Forrent.com, and Apartments.com You might find more houses to rent, compared with number of apartment buildings, in that area. A house might be something to consider where landlords might be more likely to rent to you and Doggie. Since a Shiba is smaller than, say, an Akita or Husky, in terms of size an apartment might be all right but apartment landlords often have blind spots in their minds about dogs, regardless of size. So a small house is worth considering, no? Good luck to you both! Last edited by allforcats; 03-10-2008 at 04:52 PM. |

Lynnwood is a better choice than Everett. I live in Everett and work in Lynnwood. My drive takes about 25 minutes in the morning and about 40 minutes in the evening. It might be faster for you, because you will be going the oppisite way of traffic.
There are so many apartments in the area that its impossible to know them by name. If you find a place you are intrested in send me a P.M. with the address and I would glad to check it out for you. Good luck!!!! |

You could consider Mukilteo or Edmonds, southwest of Lynnwood. Or to the east is Bothell and Mill Creek, which are some of the "nicer" areas but more expensive. If you are renting an apartment, try to stay away from the freeway, highway 99 and the malls.
