Cringe! I see this on Facebook all the time - apparently this is not learned by first graders. I don't know why people think your view on War-shing-ton state drivers are all that controversial. I agree with you completely - there's a stinkhole lot of dumb drivers in War-shing-ton who love to tailgate and love ta get stoned (BTW - I know that one should not spell to with an 'a', I just do it because that is how people sound 'to' out - as 'ta.') and love to just terrorize other drivers. When someone honks at me I usually slow down to a whisper...let 'em suffer behind me for a while - the horn is useful to warn someone that there's a car there - like don't back into me please - that sort of thing - New Yorkers and Chicagoans and many other dorks in America prefer to use the horn as a communication device - this is nothing new.

But it stinks - our roads have become havens for people to take out their nasty emotions on each other. Usually it's not love conveyed, either, it's hate. Let's face it - the world is a really, really hateful place now. It has been for decades. But it's getting worse and worse and worse with each and every passing year. Just the facts.

Nah, you're spot on, Marcia. Lots of people are $%^#holes on the road. And the unfortunate part about it is that they don't care. Las Vegas just popped in to my head. Our society is doomed to repeat the same failures over and over and over and over again. It just is. I won't start preaching to everyone now, but it is what you all need. Like it or lump it.

I’m glad you’re back in your home state, Elko...you’re cool, & we’re cool, always have been. I know that your spelling is just goofing around, not a sign of ignorance. We’re generally in agreement on topics, & even if we’re not, we are respectful to each other.

I like to be respectful of everybody, and, on the roads, not everyone is respectful of everyone else. In Kansas City, this one moron pulled up alongside a van driven by a mother of four. Her kids were in the van, I believe two of them watched her die. Why? Because one of her kids threw a McDonald's hamburger wrapper out the window of her van. This guy was badgering her like the moron he is, and, he couldn't handle that piece of garbage "being thrown at him." The kid didn't even know he was out there - but he was, and he had a...wait for it...gun. Oh no, the NRA might see this and want to rant about how important it is that everyone carries a loaded gun in their car for big, bad menaces like this little kid.

They watched their own mother bleed out. This is a great example of what I'm talking about. We're in a world of hurt. A big bucket of hurt.
